The seventh edition of the Académie des savoir-faire, a Fondation d'entreprise Hermès program dedicated to the exploration of know-how and forward-looking research around a material, is dedicated to
paper. Every two years since 2014, the Académie has brought together craftsmen, designers and engineers to explore together, for one year, avenues of innovation in craft practices.
Throughout the first half of 2025, the Foundation invites the public to explore this material in all its forms. Between January and June, five morning lectures, readings and round-table discussions, open to all with prior registration, will explore the technical, historical, symbolic and poetic dimensions of paper. To kick off this year's event, the Foundation invites you to join us on Saturday January 18 at 9 a.m. in the auditorium of the Musée national des Arts asiatiques - Guimet for the first matinale.
