École Estienne presents É(MOUVOIR - 16th Printemps de la typographie event

For the past 16 years, Printemps de la Typographie has been a series of lectures by leading specialists in the field of typography, organized by theEcole Estienne and the DSAA Design typographique. A great opportunity for students and professionals to meet, it's a founding event for students that is supported by a partnership with the Institut national du Patrimoine, which hosts the conferences in its amphitheater in the Galerie Vivienne.
The 2025 edition of Printemps de la typographie explores the link between emotion and movement in typographic design.
Whether triggered or provoked by movement, emotion acts as a force that overturns inertia and redefines our reference points. Between solitude and sociability, restlessness and commitment, it opens up an ever-changing creative space. Inspired by this dynamic, moving becomes an act of making and experimenting, inviting the reader to an active experience of typography, where reading comes down to picking, letting oneself be surprised and becoming the actor of one's own perception.
