Other Modes Week - UAMEP

Semaine des Autres Modes is the free annual public event for responsible and artistic fashion.
For the past 4 years,UAMEP (Une Autre Mode est Possible), an association and artistic collective of general interest, has brought together nearly 100 independent designers and craftspeople working for responsible, solidarity-based and circular fashion. Accessible to all, each year the collective invites the public to a week dedicated to raising awareness of ethical and artistic fashion.
For this year's event, three thematic paths are proposed: transmission, artistic creation, and a reflection on consumption patterns. The aim is to inspire and encourage concrete changes in behavior.
This multi-site program, open to all, mobilizes designers, artists, craftspeople, schools, cultural venues and players in the social economy (SSE). Together, they are working towards a future in which fashion is more responsible and committed. "Let's build a different kind of fashion together, by informing, inspiring and involving everyone", stresses Arielle Lévy, President of UAMEP.
Supported by the City of Paris since 2022, this event with a strong social and environmental impact continues to bring together and connect stakeholders in the change towards fairer, more sustainable fashion.
