Salon COLLECTIBLE - Meet the winners of the Grands Prix de la Création de la Ville de Paris

Thursday, March 13 to Sunday, March 16, 2025

From March 13 to 16, the COLLECTIBLE trade show will welcome three winners of the Grands Prix de la Création de la Ville de Paris for the years 2024, 2021 and 2019.

Experimental in its approach, COLLECTIBLE is a showcase for the very best in contemporary design.

Seeking to continually push the boundaries of creativity, the show brings together established and emerging galleries, design studios, independent creators and brands in a dynamic integrated space, while collaborating with leading design institutions and foundations to realize groundbreaking commissions and projects.

Focusing on today's creations, COLLECTIBLE strives to present only high-quality, sought-after objects that reflect the latest trends. To maintain the coherence of the COLLECTIBLE concept, the works presented are either one-offs, custom commissions or limited editions, the pieces are functional or have functionality in mind during the process, and all works must have been produced recently, with preference given to the earliest.

Winner 2024

Métiers d'art category
Prix Révélation - Antonin Mongin

Antonin Mongin, Doctor of Design and graduate of the Arts Décoratifs, transforms hair into a veritable raw material. Fascinated by the history of sentimental hair jewelry, he has resurrected this ancient practice, enabling everyone to preserve an intimate memory through unique creations. Far from being a wigmaker, Antonin approaches hair as a textile, which he shapes using techniques developed during his studies and personal research.

Grand Prix - Grégory Lacoua

A graduate of the École Boulle, Grégory Lacoua founded his studio in 2010 after an initial experience at Domeau & Pérès. He imagines objects, places and experiences that defy the constraints of reality and sublimate efficiency and beauty. For the past 10 years, his agency has been working with institutions, manufacturers, architects and craftsmen to develop innovative projects. Among his notable creations, the Tabouret... Tapis for Ligne Roset and the public soap dispenser for Paris fountains symbolize his collective and sustainable approach to design.

Emerging Talent - Marianna Ladreyt

A graduate of the Gerrit Rietveld Academy in Amsterdam and the Beaux-Arts in Toulouse, Marianna Ladreyt is a designer and publisher based in Paris, and articulates her practice between the development of new up-cycled materials (currently the non-recyclable beach buoy), and working with form through everyday objects.

A finalist at the Hyères International Fashion Festival in 2017 and winner of the Grand Prix de la Création de la Ville de Paris in 2019, she launched her eponymous brand the same year, which became a multidisciplinary design studio in 2022.

Today, the studio offers series of diverse, one-of-a-kind objects, while also responding to requests for bespoke projects, from design to manufacture in its Paris workshop.
