Units

Units is a design agency founded in 2019 by Tom Formont and Roman Weil, both graduates of ENSCI-Les Ateliers and CentraleSupélec. Units combines design and research to push each project towards its most accomplished and most alert form with regard to contemporary issues.

On the one hand, the Design Unit designs products through an approach that values the appropriateness of shapes and their integration into multiple lifestyles. On the other hand, the Research Unit explores prospective issues in strategic and experimental fields: by collaborating with R&D laboratories (Essilor) or by proposing social and plastic experiments (Audi Talents).
