The Bureau's actions

The promotion of events in the design, fashion and crafts sector is one of the Bureau's missions.

Each year, it takes part in a number of events, including the Journées Européennes des Métiers d'Art, the Révélations biennial, the Carrousel des Métiers d'Art and Paris Design Week. In this way, the Bureau highlights to Parisians the diversity of these sectors and the professionals who work in them.

Focus: Paris Design Week

A key cultural event of the new season in Paris, in synergy with Maison&Objet, Paris Design Week mobilises the French and international design community. It plunges the capital into a buzz of exhibitions, walks and events.

As a partner of Paris Design Week, the Bureau works each year to ensure that venues in the City of Paris participate in this event.

Design on course

Design sur cours invites designers, selected through a call for applications, to exhibit their outdoor projects(installations, exhibitions, demonstrations, etc.) in emblematic Parisian locations to the general public and professionals during Paris Design Week.

For the 2024 edition, several Parisian courtyards and venues will host them: the Maison Victor Hugo, the Bibliothèque Historique de la Ville de Paris, the Bibliothèque Forney, theHôtel d'Albret and theHôtel de Coulanges.
