Presentation of the scheme

Aimed at graduate and non-graduate students and adults undergoing retraining, the Savoir-faire en transmission awards offer participants the opportunity to gain meaningful professional experience through concrete projects, hone their skills, and observe the day-to-day operations of a company. A real springboard to employment, this program boasts an 85% professional reintegration rate.

Each candidate must first secure a placement with a master artisan recognized for their experience, whose workshop is located in Paris or in other departments of the Île-de-France region, where they can gain a better understanding of the specific aspects of the craft they intend to pursue and the realities of working in a business. In the case of rare trades, the host company may be located outside the Île-de-France region. The jury will select the candidates in December 2026. The 12-month internships will begin in January or April 2027, depending on the winner’s choice.

For the 2025 edition,25 awards were presentedby the City of Paris and the following sponsors: the Rémy Cointreau Foundation, the Michelle and Antoine Riboud Foundation, 19M, the Alliance for European Flax and Hemp, the Signature Foundation, Hôtel d’Amboise, and the Comité Colbert through the Endowment Fund for the Ateliers de Paris.
