Antonin Mongin is a doctor of design and textile craftsman-designer. His work aims to reawaken the "art of working with hair" that has been dormant since the early twentieth century, whereby cut hair (from donated hair) is no longer considered as waste, but as a precious raw material. Endowed with a high identity, symbolic and memorial value, this fiber is integrated into the manufacture of textile materials and made-to-measure objects. In his workshop, he also textilises horsehair, raffia fibre and ramie for luxury houses.
