Emilie Zanon is the creator of CAPOUCHE which she created on November 1st 2009. She creates and manufactures unique custom-made pieces as well as small limited series for individuals in France and professionals abroad. Emilie has just set up her workshop in the 12th arrondissement of Paris.
In 2010, Emilie is the winner of the Concours Jeunes Créateurs d'Ateliers d'Art de France 2010, and presents her new collection A/W 10/11 at the Maison & Objet show in September.

Emilie was a resident at Les Ateliers de Paris from October 2009 to November 2010.

In 2009, after winning the Visa pour Montréal prize at the Grand Prix de la Création de la Ville de Paris with her first hat collection, she had the chance to work in Quebec for 6 months at the Laboratoire créatif de Montréal.
In 2007, Emilie created her first collection "marron, vert, bleu", in parallel with various artistic projects ("les malades-gilets" with the SOS-ART collective in Paris, "portraits de chaises" with E-WERK in Weimar).
And to do all this, she had to learn and acquired a solid training during two years at the École Supérieure des Arts Visuels La Cambre (Brussels) with Tony Delcampes as head of workshop, and during three years at the École Supérieure des Arts Appliqués Duperré (BTS stylisme).
