Designer and researcher, Claire Eliot explores the potential of flexible materials when the thread that makes up their weft is electronic.

Interrogating our current digital interfaces, she designs new kinds of communicating surfaces: reactive flexible materials born of the meeting of artisanal know-how and the sciences of electronics.

Trained in fashion at Duperré and in design at ENSCI-Les Ateliers,
she seeks to create more links between the world of creation and that of digital technologies. Attracted by the new possibilities that are opening up in the world of textiles, her projects are as much art objects as research tools.
