Elise Fouin

Elise Fouin, a designer who graduated from the École Boulle, takes the opposite approach to traditional design by thinking about the material before thinking about the object. She likes to play with the tactile and sensitive qualities of the materials she recovers and reinvents with subtlety.
Her creations testify to the porosity between design and art and give her the opportunity to participate in more artistic projects. Recognised for the delicacy and poetry of her work with materials, particularly paper, she was named Talent à la Carte at the Maison & Objets show in 2010.
The designer now collaborates with luxury and mass-market brands for space design as well as product and furniture design.
