Formal Studio

Formel is a design and manufacturing studio founded in 2019 by Timothée Concaret, industrial designer and Nicolas Mérigout, craftsman-designer. Their desire is to reconcile industry and craft by designing fair and responsible objects. Their complementary know-how allows them to carry out projects from the sketch to the manufacturing stage, collaborating with companies such as Ligne Roset or the SNCF but also producing their own pieces of furniture.

As designers, they create simple, timeless and enthusiastic objects. A modest design for a useful and durable object. As craftsmen, they anticipate the constraints of the production methods used. Finally, by designing every last assembly element, they pay tribute to the work of the craftsman.
