Junior Fritz Jacquet folds and crumples sheets of paper and cardboard, without cutting or gluing, to create surprising objects. Masks, plant-like compositions, figures that bend to the artist's every whim, aerial light sculptures, installations... A plastic sculptor originally from Haiti, Junior uses the art of origami at its highest level, but explores new avenues that give his works a highly personal style. His works can be found in the world's greatest folding sanctuaries, the Origami Gallery (Tokyo) and the Mingei International Museum (San Diego).
