Isabelle Daëron is a graduate of ESAD Reims and ENSCI-les Ateliers. Since 2009 she has been developing a research project on the use of natural flows in urban space. The first object in the series, Topique-eau, is a public fountain that filters rainwater. This project was awarded "Une Étoile" by L'Observeur du Design and the Prix de la Ville de Paris in 2010. Nine variations of Topiques were presented in an exhibition at the Center for Contemporary Art in Kitakyushu, Japan, in January 2012.
Whether it be exhibition scenographies, urban devices or health-related projects, she places narrative at the heart of her practice: an approach that affirms a search for balance between a projection of the imaginary and the technique that allows its realisation.
