Janaïna Milheiro

Janaïna Milheiro, craftswoman and textile designer, creates and produces high quality weavings and embroideries for fashion or decoration. She offers the creation and development of exclusive models, but also her textile collection, Le Fil des Plumes.
A graduate of the textile design department of ENSCI - Les Ateliers (Paris, 2010) and of ESAA Duperré in embroidery (Paris, 2007), her creative approach has been nourished by the practice of various textile techniques: embroidery, weaving and sewing, but also lace, knitting, printing and braiding. She likes to combine these different techniques. Her work is supported in particular by the Fondation pour la Vocation, the Maison des Canuts, the Manufacture Prelle and the lacemakers Sophie Hallette.
