Jules Levasseur

A designer who graduated from the ESAD in Reims, Jules Levasseur develops his projects in close collaboration with tradesmen and specialist companies. Stimulated by a committed design, he focuses on the evolution of artisanal and working practices, seeking to merge innovation and tradition in order to offer a contemporary vision of a craft. Thus, the notion of quality of work is central to his research. Winner of the Grand Prix de la Création de la Ville de Paris in 2014 and research engineer at the IDIS Chair in 2015, he is developing his research with the aim of inserting these new networks created within a real and local economy.
