Martial Marquet

Architecture, scenography and design intersect in Martial Marquet's transdisciplinary practice. A graduate of the École Spéciale d'Architecture and the ENSCI-Les Ateliers, his projects reconcile the complexity of uses with apparent formal and technical simplicity. Today he focuses on the design of convivial and welcoming spaces, both in public spaces and in the landscape. Architecture, furniture and installations are considered as vectors of a narrative that reinvents social space. Perennial or ephemeral, hybrid and evolving, his constructions, often in wood, place the user at the heart of the device.
