Rose Ekwé

A graduate of the École Duperré and the Haute École des Arts du Rhin in Mulhouse, Rose Ekwé created her own research and textile design studio. She develops an innovative practice around new eco-responsible materials. Her technique of spinning with compostable materials allows her to create her fibres, then to produce new fabric structures in a circular approach. With the help of engineers and scientists, she weaves together chemistry, biology and textiles. She responds to tailor-made projects in which the material can be considered in terms of innovation, such as in the fields of R&D, architecture, the automobile industry, health and fashion.
