Sophie Harand's work revolves around function. The concepts of object design are applied to clothing with humour and lightness. She combines opposites and surprises with unexpected materials. Soft wood and stone leaves are juxtaposed with technical nylons; 3D printed plastic with vegetable leather. The result is a resolutely modern men's wardrobe, combining sportswear functionality with urban chic. In 2015, she was one of the 10 finalists at the Hyères Festival with the collection La chute d'Icare. She is now working on the creation of a brand of accessories that will adapt to the mobile lifestyle.
