Rose Ekwé is a textile designer and resident at Les Ateliers de Paris.

“Thanks to this honor loan, I will be able to finance research and development for the mechanization of the spinning process that I patented and developed by hand to design new bio-based yarns from algae.”

Once this yarn is in production, I will be able to offer and weave exclusive custom-made Gelotextiles© in my workshop for the interior design and furniture industries, in order to expand my activity in these sectors.
