The Verrecchia Endowment Fund invites applications for its 4th edition of the Matière(s) Grant!
The Verrecchia Endowment Fund is the philanthropic arm of the eponymous Verrecchia Group, dedicated to the promotion and enhancement of the stone-cutting arts and crafts.
This residency offers artists from all horizons the opportunity to explore the material of stone during a privileged period of research and creation, with the support of leading stone-cutting professionals.
This call for applications is open to all fields of contemporary creation around art and material: architecture, landscape, painting, sculpture, drawing, engraving, photography, video, cinema, digital arts, performing arts... as well as to art and craft professions.
This year, the Bourse Matière(s) will be awarded to three projects. It offers a unique opportunity for creative people to immerse themselves in an in-depth exploration of stone material for up to 3 months.
Two exceptional venues will host the winners:
- The Villa Arson in Nice - a winning project
- Camille Claudel vocational school in Remiremont, Vosges - two winning projects.
