Call for entries - Fondation Hermès, l'Académie des savoir-faire

Until July 1

The Fondation d'entreprise Hermès is launching its call for applications to select the participants of the seventh Academy of Know-How.
This edition, which will take place in 2025, will focus on paper.

Every two years since 2014, the Académie des savoir-faire has invited craftsmen, designers and engineers to explore together avenues of innovation in the fields of craftsmanship around a material. The program runs for eleven months, from January to November.

With the Académie, the Fondation d'entreprise Hermès implements a work schedule designed to enable participants to enrich their knowledge through lectures, visits and meetings led by experts, then to exchange and improve their skills by taking part in a collaborative workshop, a veritable laboratory of new practices.
The aim is to combine transmission with exploration.

The Académie des savoir-faire is representative of the Foundation's vocation: to support craftspeople, creators and solidarity players who are inventing new
know-how to transform today's world and build tomorrow's.

The Foundation thus confirms its attachment to exchanges between the fields of design and craftsmanship. It wishes to encourage experimentation based on collective intelligence, as well as the consideration of issues linked to the sustainability of resources and the socio-economic development of territories.

How to apply?

Applications can be submitted on the website
of the Fondation d'entreprise Hermès.

The application must consist of:
– a cover letter
