Call for entries - Prix Savoir-faire en transmission
Until October 31, 2024
The Prix Savoir-faire en transmission is a professional integration scheme that enables young professionals to perfect their training within a craft company.
The prizes, each worth 10,000 euros, offer a trainee the opportunity to spend a year's full-time training in the workshop of an artisan d'art. Intended for students with or without diplomas, as well as for adults undergoing retraining, they offer significant professional experience with concrete projects, the chance to perfect skills and observe the day-to-day running of a company.
23 prizes will be awarded by the City of Paris and the following sponsors: Fondation Rémy Cointreau, Fondation Michelle et Antoine Riboud, 19 M, Fédération française de la maroquinerie, Alliance For European Flax Linen & Hemp, via the Fonds de dotation pour les Ateliers de Paris.
Each candidate must first make arrangements with an experienced craftsman or craftswoman, whose workshop is located in Paris or the inner suburbs, where they can gain a better understanding of the specificities of the trade for which they are applying, and of the realities of company life. In the case of rare trades, the host company may be located outside the Paris region.
The 12-month internships start in January or April, depending on the winner's choice.
