Call for Projects: Secondhand Refashion
Applications are being accepted until May 24, 2026.

Refashion is launching the 4th edition of its Secondhand Project Call which supports players in the secondhand textile and footwear sector who wish to develop or structure their business using post-consumer textile and clothing waste collected in France.
Three types of projects will be supported in 2026:
- Seed funding: to give small-scale projects a boost. Funding ranging from €20,000 to €50,000, for a maximum period of 12 months.
- Development: to support capital expenditures and accelerate a project that is already well established. Funding of €50,000 to €200,000, for a maximum period of 24 months.
- Scaling up: to help a project expand and become more robust and sustainable. Funding range: €200,000 to €1,000,000, for a maximum duration of 24 months.
Refashion provides funding for up to 50% of the total project cost.
In 2026, Seconde main Refashion’s three main missions are:
- Help stakeholders optimize and streamline secondhand supply chains,
- Increase sales volume by leveraging the appeal of the secondhand market,
- Supporting scaling up and cooperation among stakeholders.
Collaboration among stakeholders is encouraged: by pooling expertise and strengthening the project’s foundation and ambition
Eligibility requirements:
- Havebeen engaged in the reuseorrecyclingofclothing, household linens, or shoes (TLC) forat least one year (or be collaborating with an organization that meets this criterion);
- To bea Refashion-certified operator(to become certified), or to commit to sourcing materialsthrough a Refashion-certified collection or sorting operator;
- Roll out the project acrossFrance;
- Treat the project as asingle entity(even in the case of a collaborative project).
An introductory webinar will be held on Tuesday, May 12, 2026, from 2:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. to answer applicants’ questions before the application deadline.
