Notice to designers and craft professionals: access opportunities in Europe with Craftwork 4.0 All
The Bureau du Design, de la Mode et des Métiers d'art, the MaNa Campus, the Campus d'excellence Mode, Métiers d'Art & Design and Villette Makerz are joining forces as part of the European Craftwork 4.0 All platform to support emerging craft talents.
Co-funded by Creative Europe, Craftwork 4.0 All brings together 12 national leaders from 12 European countries around a common goal: to develop, train and connect a new generation of craftspeople with a view to sustainability, technological innovation and social inclusion. The project will support more than 3,500 emerging professionals through hybrid training, residencies, international mobility, public events and a digital resource platform.
As associate members of the platform, BDMMA, Campus MaNa, Campus Mode, Métiers d'Art & Design and Villette Makerz are combining their expertise to :
- Promote the richness and diversity of Paris Region know-how on a European scale;
- To offer French-based designers international development opportunities through residencies, masterclasses, travelling academies and exhibitions;
- Encourage practices that are eco-responsible, inclusive and connected to contemporary creative issues.
Concrete actions are already underway, including the Craft Academy Sweden, which will take place in September 2025 and bring together artists and craftsmen around paper, linocut and lithography. Other mobilities, residencies and public events are planned in France and Europe up to 2028, with highlights during Paris Design Week.
With this partnership, the partners are affirming their desire to support a generation of committed, inventive and forward-looking designers.
