Resident portrait - Pierre Lebon, Studio Pile
A resident of Les Ateliers de Paris, Pierre Lebon founded Studio Pile in 2023. Conceived as a creative laboratory, the studio explores the links between design, education and sound experimentation.

Pierre Lebon, a resident of Les Ateliers de Paris, founded Studio Pile, a global design studio with both an artistic and technical approach. Pile designs products and services ranging from educational tools and musical instruments to graphic and sound identities. Conceived as a creative laboratory, the studio's work revolves around learning, curiosity and play.
Pierre Lebon began his career in international studios. He first joined artist and designer Yuri Suzuki in London, then moved to Hong Kong to work with industrial design studio Michael Young Studio. Back in France, he joined the NoDesign agency, where he worked on exhibition scenography, digital object design and lighting. He then joined Emilieu Studio to design furniture for the Camondo Méditerranée school.

In 2023, he founded Studio Pile with the aim of making his practice part of an entrepreneurial dynamic. Here, he develops a holistic approach to design, combining product conception, sound design and educational transmission.

Attached to the challenges of transmission, Pierre Lebon has been teaching design in higher education for several years.
Studio Pile is currently overseeing the redesign of the graphic universe for the Le Fondant Baulois brand, as well as the overall design of Librairie Vendredi (identity, interior layout and furniture). The studio is also preparing for the September launch of Baou, its first collection of objects.
