Katarzyna Cichy, jewelry and object designer in residence at Les Ateliers de Paris.
In residence at Les Ateliers de Paris, Katarzyna Cichy founded her eponymous brand in 2022. Through jewelry and talisman, she creates pieces that serve as sacred receptacles, capable of enshrining precious memories of times past, landscapes crossed - imaginary or real - becoming refuges, spaces of exchange and reliquaries.
She grew up between North America and Europe and has always been drawn to exploring the world and learning about its different cultures, continents and climates. Katarzyna is interested in the multi-disciplinarity of design and develops a holistic approach throughout her work, between jewelry, objects and sculpture.
A graduate of theÉcole Nationale Supérieure des Arts Décoratifs, she began working with sculpture during her studies, initially in ceramics, before translating her ideas and forms into precious metals. A finalist at the 35th Hyères International Fashion and Photography Festival - it was then that she had the opportunity to collaborate with Goossens and create her first jewelry collection.
Sustainability and circular production practices are the brand's founding values. Jewelry is born from metals that have already lived and can be recycled in the future. The shapes are inspired by personal experiences and memories, colors and emotions. They are inspired by the land and sea, retaining in their details a trace and echo of places lived and felt. Each piece becomes part of the wearer's personal narrative, accompanying his or her adventures, exchanges, dialogues and dreams.
The collection is handmade in Paris and made to pre-order, with local, traceable production, in close collaboration with the finest craftsmen in every stage of design and production of each collection. The brand aims to be a perpetual tribute to nature, and is deeply rooted in respect for our environment and the beings that inhabit it.

MATTER exhibition - September 5-14, 2024
To coincide with Paris Design Week, Galeries Lafayette Champs-Élysées is opening the doors of the Boardroom to designers Eve George and Katarzyna Cichy. An immersive exhibition that brings the space and its furniture into dialogue with the imaginations woven between the artists.
MATTER is a quest, a journey promising to enter into matter. To feel its energy, its vibrations.

Collaboration with aurèce vettier on bronze sculptures, which are born of a dialogue between craftsmanship and artificial intelligence. Each work is imagined as a precious jewel, accented by constellations of diamonds, sapphires, emeralds and rubies.
Launch of the Delos collection - September 2024
Katarzyna Cichy launches her second jewelry collection, Delos, during Paris Fashion Week. Delos is a very personal collection, born of the desire and fundamental need to anchor ourselves in something that goes beyond the individual and connects us to an ecosystem larger and more complex than ourselves. A return to the sacred, the pure, a journey to the essential. The collection is designed around the way the pieces reflect light and carry the energies of the gems they contain, bringing joy and a ray of light to the wearer. Each jewel is conceived as a protective force, an anchor, an invitation to introspection and reverie.
