Eponymous brand, Kitesy Martin launches in 2018 its
creation studio around upcycling. A creative laboratory focused on
jewelry, but also to decoration, footwear, leather goods or
clothing.
A stylist for almost ten years, Kitesy has passed through various
houses such as Balenciaga, Balmain, Lacoste or Perrin Paris.
Kitesy hunts for vintage pieces and dormant stocks, which she
disassembles and reassembles to make unique
handmade pieces in a circular economy. She draws her inspiration from contemporary art and pop culture to bring to
light a graphic style mixing materials, genres and silver with gold.

Planète Renew at Galeries Lafayette Champs-Elysées

For the second year running, Galeries Lafayette Champs-Elysées is hosting an exhibition by upcycling artist
Kitesy Martin as part of Paris Design Week.

This artistic presentation can be seen from September 07 to 17 in the Boardroom on the second floor of Galeries Lafayette Champs-Elysées.

The installation unveils a world where the Earth is living its last hours, and where people are rushing to salvage a few objects before
taking refuge in another space-time. This immersive exhibition invites the public to find these last upcycled items,
remnants of the blue planet. All inhabitants have become craftsmen of rare or utilitarian objects from these terrestrial souvenirs, and everyone knows how to use their workshop to make
unique pieces for their daily lives.

Upcycling workshops are also on offer to discover how earthly objects are brought back to life.
