Lucille Boitelle is an ornamental painter. Resident at the Atelier de Paris since 2023, she creates materials, motifs and panoramic decors that are both resolutely modern and filled with symbolism.

After completing a double degree in product/textile design, Lucille joined Pierre Frey in 2013, where she discovered a unique savoir-faire coupled with a certain sense of elegance. Joining the weaving studio, she developed a keen sense of color, a taste for hand-painted archives and an unconditional love for "heritage" companies.

Since launching her workshop in 2017, Lucille has been developing numerous bespoke projects in addition to her collections. Wallpapers, embroideries, monumental decors... Her signature designs can be found with prestigious publishers such as Pierre Frey, Nobilis, Casamance or Larsen...

Lucille cultivates her inspirations. Irresistible attraction to Nabis painting. An ever-renewed interest in botany and landscape art. An uncontained love of northern beaches and the cinema of Agnès Varda. Unaffected by trends and fashions, she draws on experience, memory and popular recall to imagine narrative settings. Playing with the scale of plants, feigning marble, wood and stone, hybridizing spaces and brushing up on materials and textures, each of her productions is a new paper theater. A space for all possibilities, the décor awakens our senses and revives the poetry of inhabited spaces.

Convinced that meeting, exchanging and sharing tools and knowledge can lead to a richer decorative art, Lucille deploys her know-how in a deliberately inclusive dynamic. Whether a piece in enamelled lava in collaboration with Studio Ler or leather marquetry with Audrey Bigouin, the design is a starting point, an invitation to "make together". With four hands, the decor takes on a new dimension, evolving, adjusting and expanding with our combined passions.

At the studio, Lucille welcomes customers and collaborators. It's a place for exchanging ideas and discussing the same decorative project. Behind the scenes of a sensitive, delicate and singular universe, the studio is also a refuge for imagining new stories and planning new adventures.

In December, Lucille designed the BDMMA greetings card, and she's already planning what's next. Since two new releases will be presented in January at Paris déco off, at Larsen and Casamance respectively. She will also be exhibiting from January 18 to 22 at Maison et Objet In the city at 30 rue du Faubourg Saint-Antoine.
