Resident profile - Solène Lescouët

Passionate fashion designer Solène Lescouët draws her inspiration from iconic figures such as Klaus Nomi, Nina Hagen and David Bowie. Her universe unfolds at the crossroads of the worlds of music, cinema and concert dreams, which she transforms into reality through her creations.

Each piece by Solène Lescouët tells a story. Theatrical and daring, her fashion is distinguished by graphic garments, where volumes, colors and pleated structures blend masterfully. She blends punk, graphic and poetic influences to create outfits that liberate their wearers.

Her commitment goes beyond aesthetics: Solène values ethics by working mainly with end-of-stock and deadstock, thus integrating a sustainable and responsible dimension into her creative process.

At the same time, she shares her passion as a costume instructor, inspiring her students to explore the art of clothing as a means of expression.

To wear Solène Lescouët is to choose fashion that goes beyond trends, fashion that tells a story and invites everyone to feel free and unique.

The Solène Lescouët brand had the honor of taking part in the opening ceremony of the 2024 Olympic Games alongside Daphné Bürki and Thomas Jolly. This incredible experience enabled her to expand her customer base internationally.

In addition, the brand recently created bespoke looks for an upcoming American film, while continuing several collaborations with artists from the music scene. The collaboration with London shoe brand Underground Creepers is also available on its website, with three exclusive models designed especially for this collaboration.

More recently, Solène Lescouët was invited by the French Embassy in Denmark for a study trip to Copenhagen. This opportunity enabled her to meet key players in Danish Fashion Week and explore local trends.

Currently in the midst of preparing its next collection, the brand will unveil it in early March at the Galerie des Ateliers in Paris, on the occasion of Women's Fashion Week. The presentation will take the form of an immersive event, highlighting the collection's universe.
