Jeanne Cross at Marine Billet

“This program is helping me build my technical skills, boost my confidence, and deepen my understanding of the field.”
Jeanne Cross began a career change in 2023 by earning a CAP in jewelry design and craftsmanship through GRETA at the École Boulle in one year, followed by an advanced certificate at the Académie des Métiers d’Art in Bobigny.
Jeanne met Marine Billet a few years ago, and Marine supported her throughout her career transition, both technically and in her choice of training programs. She also completed several internships at the Marine Billet workshop during her CAP and supplementary certification. This workshop specializes in creating one-of-a-kind pieces for fashion house runway shows.

“My apprenticeship takes place in a supportive environment, with a variety of projects, between Fécamp and Paris.”
At the workshop, Jeanne assists Marine in creating pieces for her brand, Incarnem, particularly for custom orders. She is involved in casting, welding, fitting, and finishing. She has also contributed to the creation of pieces for brands such as Schiaparelli (a sculptural necklace) and L’Occitane en Provence (brass branch elements, based on plant casts for set design), as part of her work as a model maker.
“The Savoir-Faire in Transmission Award is a key asset for my career development, particularly when it comes to joining jewelry design workshops.”
