Arzu Firuz

Arzu Firuz is a young designer of Turkish origin, graduated from the Ecole Supérieure des Arts Appliqués Duperré. An independent designer since 2006, she participates in the Maison et Objet fair and collaborates with publishers such as Polystyl (Tarkett group) and Ligne Roset.

Arzu Firuz joined forces with Paul Huber to create her design studio following the success of her vinyl carpet collection. She collaborates with furniture publishers, works with architecture and scenography agencies as well as for cultural institutions. Her projects question the relationship between the everyday object and the ornament.
Using industrial manufacturing techniques and contemporary materials, the studio's projects offer a fresh look at oriental culture and craftsmanship. The richness of the traditional decorations combined with the precision of the digital design processes, have allowed Arzu Firuz creations to be appreciated and distributed internationally.
