Camille Lescure has been drawing silhouettes since her childhood. For the purposes of her final embroidery diploma at ESAA Duperré, she imagined "muses". These characters, which functioned somewhat like the cardboard silhouettes of cut-out dolls, have been enriched by collections of textile accessories and jewellery that mix techniques and materials. In 2006, she was awarded the Bourse des Métiers d'Art by the City of Paris. Thanks to this, she collaborated with Philippe Grand, the Haute Couture designer, in the creation of jewellery and fashion accessories for the Jean Paul Gaultier, Givenchy, Lacroix and Vuitton fashion shows.
In 2007 she won the Grand Prix de la création de la Ville de Paris in the fashion category. This enabled her to launch her brand, open her boutique-atelier in Paris (12th arrondissement) and present her world. She was then spotted by Printemps where she opened corners in Paris. She also creates collections or unique pieces for collaborations (Nature et Découverte, Maison du Chocolat, press, events...).
The key words of her creations are: elegance, sensuality and poetry. She is inspired by nature and its forms, the mixture of materials, the nuances of colours.
The collections are presented in Paris in the Camille Lescure boutique at 85bis rue de Charenton (Paris 12) and in the Printemps Nation and Italy stores. The creations are also available in the museum shops of the Pinacothèque de Paris and the Musée des Arts Asiatiques in Nice.
