During a report for Arte, Samuel Gassmann was interested in 2007 in understanding the origin of the "smallest element" of men's clothing: the man's shirt button. After empirical research at the Musée de la Nacre, the result is mother-of-pearl pions that visually resemble cufflinks. With his eponymous brand, created in 2009, Samuel reinvents the highlights of clothing with one or more materials, to underline its singularities. He is now developing his business internationally.
