Call for projects – French Wood & Design
Applications open until April 24, 2026.
Fibois Franceand its network of regional interprofessional organizations (Fibois Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes,Centre-Val-de-Loire,Grand-Est,Île-de-France, andNouvelle-Aquitaine) are launching the fifth edition of the Bois Français & Design call for projects. Supported byBois de France,it aims to promote French wood, reused wood, and the expertise of companies in the sector.
Design brings real added value to companies in the wood industry: functionality, aesthetics, responses to societal issues, market targeting, and promotion of local species or reused wood.
This call for projects is open to designers, architects, primary and secondary processing companies , and recent design graduates involved in the design of products made from local or reused wood.
This fifth edition highlights shared spaces: urban developments, reception areas, shared spaces, and meeting places.
As in previous editions, the selection made by the national jury will be published in the book Bois France & Design. Some projects will also be exhibited during Paris Design Week in September 2026, in the courtyard of the Bibliothèque historique de la Ville de Paris.
