The Fédération de la Haute Couture et de la Mode unveils a common reference framework for the ecoscenography of Paris Fashion Week® events

As part of its CSR approach, the Fédération de la Haute Couture et de la Mode has published a common reference framework to guide Paris Fashion Week® participants towards more circular and responsible practices in terms of event scenography.

Presented on July 16 at the Palais de Tokyo, the Référentiel commun de l'écoscénographie des événements de la Paris Fashion Week® marks a new stage in the CSR approach undertaken by the Fédération de la Haute Couture et de la Mode. This document, drawn up with the collaboration of Soqo and the support of DEFI, formalizes shared practices to encourage eco-design and circularity in the production of fashion events.

This reference framework is a continuation of the Federation's actions since 2019, through concrete initiatives in mobility, space sharing, waste management and materials reuse. It offers a grid of 75 criteria, classified by theme and level of ambition, enabling production teams to self-assess and gradually integrate ecoscaping principles into all stages of their projects.

Constructed collectively with the companies on the official calendar, production agencies, valuers, cultural venues and life-cycle analysis specialists, the guidelines provide a common framework for harmonizing practices throughout Paris Fashion Week®.

Contributing structures include Collectif 17h25, l'Écothèque de l'Augures Lab Scénogrrrraphie and La Réserve des Arts, whose feedback fed into the document's operational content.
