Textile designer Charlotte Kaufmann creates unique textures in weaving, embroidery and bobbin lace.
Trained at ENSCI-Les Ateliers in object design, then at Duperré School in weaving, Charlotte Kaufmann learns embroidery in Mumbai (India), thanks to the support of the Culture and Diversity Foundation-UNESCO. She opened her workshop in 2016, and develops collections of handmade textiles in France, combining instinctive gesture and interpretation, for tailor-made projects in haute couture and interior design. She regularly collaborates with designers and craftsmen to create projects that combine excellence and innovation.
