Both textile designers, Lily and Léa met while studying at the Duperré School. Linked by a wonderful friendship and a passion for weaving, they founded their workshop in 2009. Their style? To be inspired by the material. Threads, but also leather and paper... that they cut, crush and weave on their looms.

They invent patterns but also textures and sometimes even the tools to realize their ideas. Their approach is artisanal. If the computer allows them to project themselves in the final result, to prepare technically their projects, it is by "assembling" their mechanical looms, by activating pedals and levers, that they give birth to a few meters of materials realized by hand. "Our research work allows us to offer a textile collection in the form of samples or objects such as decorative panels," they say.

Interior designers and luxury brands then place orders, sometimes requiring adaptations in terms of colours in particular. There is also a more artistic part where they create unique works, from a brief. "We have to work in collaboration with other workshops to develop new approaches. For example, at the moment we are exploring wood weaving and we are in contact with a cabinetmaker. It's exciting to create a dialogue between artisans and designers, to imagine objects or furniture together", explains the pair, who do not exclude designing weavings intended to be published and therefore produced on a larger scale.
