Nelson FosseyNelson Fossey, designer, has created 25 3D printed pieces of recycled filament. Superimposed and assembled, they offer different degrees of opacity and moiré. This manufacturing technique, usually used to produce parts in volume, is here diverted to become a drawing machine in relief.

A graduate of the Camondo School and ENSCI-Les Atelier, Nelson Fossey first worked in design agencies in France and abroad. In 2019, he founded A-d-n., a design studio focused on the digital design of everyday objects, products and furniture.

Passionate about techniques, technologies and the forms they give rise to, Nelson Fossey aims to explore the potential of computer code (algorithms) to generate forms that are both digital and physical, malleable and fabricable.

The workshop develops a specific know-how combining computer-assisted design and custom manufacturing, in order to accompany its various clients and projects. Non-standard lighting fixtures, evolving shelves, interactive playful systems and regenerated imaginary worlds are born.
