Ceucle

The word legitimacy comes up a lot when Auriane talks about her beginnings. She had always dreamed of going into fashion, but chose to enter the Beaux-Arts in Rennes straight out of high school: she didn't yet feel legitimate in this world.
But, little by little, the need to embark on this path became too great. Still unsure of herself, she questioned those close to her before changing course. And for them, her vocation was obvious. And so it was that she enrolled at the École de la Chambre Syndicale de la Couture in Paris, which she preferred for its highly technical approach. "I wanted to be able to do everything myself ," she says. Today, this desire permeates her work. " Pattern-making, for example, is really an integral part of my approach," insists the woman who, after 6 years at Esteban Cortázar, a fashion house on a human scale, launched her label, Cèucle, in 2021. Her wardrobe? Unisex. " Clothes have the gender you give them. It's important for it to be a playground for expression. It's a bias that catalyzes Auriane's creativity, and she loves constraints: "That's where I put all my energy ".
Committed to her work, she has collaborated from the outset with a social integration workshop, to which she remains very loyal. These choices undoubtedly explain her success and development over the last two years, also supported by her residency at Les Ateliers de Paris. A development that needed a helping hand. Her award comes at just the right time, and will " help her to grow with peace of mind.
