Sumbiosis workshop

Tony Jouanneau is a designer specialising in textile finishing. He focused his practice on biodesign during a course at ENSCI-Les Ateliers.

In 2018, he founded Atelier Sumbiosis and brought together researchers, scientists and artisans to imagine the ecosystems of tomorrow's textile know-how. Inspired by the process of symbiosis, he creates an innovative collaboration between the living and the flexible materials. From the product to the space, he is now developing his custom-made creations of textile pieces and finished papers based on a collaborative and local manufacturing model.
