Call for entries for the Grands Prix de la Ville de Paris 2024

Open to design, fashion and craft professionals from all over France, until May 21, 2024.

The Grands Prix de la Création are evolving for 2024. Two new features this year: the creation of the Prix Accessoire Bijoux in collaboration with Francéclat, and the evolution of the Awards with the Prix Révélation to detect young talent, and the Prix Engagement to support designers whose projects reflect the major challenges facing our society.

Every year for the past 30 years, the Grands Prix de la Création have been detecting up-and-coming talent and spotlighting the design, fashion and craft industries that are working towards new imaginations, offering new uses, and responding to environmental and societal issues. This is why it was necessary to reaffirm this commitment through the Grands Prix de la Création categories.

In 2024, the Grands Prix de la Création de la Ville de Paris will reward 8 winners: 3 Prix Révélation, 3 Prix engagement, 1 Prix Accessoires Mode and 1 Prix Accessoires Bijoux.

The Prix Révélation is awarded to a professional whose
project is promising, creative and has prospects for
development. The prize acts as a talent spotlight.

The Prix Engagement rewards a professional for
his or her creative, research and innovative approach, for his or her
entrepreneurial approach, and for his or her ability to develop and provide solutions to the challenges and uses of our time
.

The Fashion Accessories Prize, in partnership with ADC, is awarded to emerging or established accessories projects (leather goods, shoes, gloves, belts, etc.).

The Prix Accessoires Bijoux is open to accessory projects
in the jewelry and fashion jewelry sectors. This prize is created in partnership with Francéclat.

An endowment of 18,000 euros is awarded to the winners. Each prize is endowed with 8,000 euros by the City of Paris, and supplemented via the Fonds pour les Ateliers de Paris by private partners: Fédération Française du Prêt à Porter Féminin, ADC, Groupe Galeries Lafayette, ESMOD, Roger Pradier, Victoire, Groupe Galia and Francéclat.

In addition to the prize money, the winners will benefit from visibility offered by media partners and associates: Première Classe, Paris Design Week, Maison&Objet, Alliance France Design, Ipocamp, Intramuros, Fashion Network, AD Magazine, La Gazette Drouot, The Good Goods, GOODMOODS, PAUL.E, Gestes, Process Magazine, MODEM, Silhouette, Eyes on Talents, FORMAE, IDEAT, Beau Magazine, Palais Galliera and Campus Design et Métiers d'Arts.
