For cultural and creative entrepreneurs (artists, designers, craftspeople), interacting with the public authorities, local authorities or the State, implies knowing the conditions under which they can order a service or a good.
This workshop aims to provide some basics on what public commissioning and public markets are. It will also address forms of financing or support that do not fall within this field: calls for projects, grants.
Finally, it aims at evoking the specificities of the artistic and creative sector: public artistic order, artistic exception due to the unique work, experimentations, insertion and environmental criteria, articulation with the copyright, support to private programs of artistic orders (one building one work)...
