Know-How Transmission Award
The Savoir-faire en transmission awards enable young adults or adults undergoing retraining to perfect their craft training during a full-time, one-year internship in an artisan's workshop.
Awarded annually by the City of Paris, the prizes are worth €12,000 each.

Aimed at graduate and undergraduate students, as well as adults undergoing retraining, the Savoir-faire en transmission awards offer significant professional experience with concrete projects, the chance to perfect a skill and observe the day-to-day running of a company.
Each candidate must first make arrangements with an experienced craftsman or craftswoman, whose workshop is located in Paris or one of the other departments of the Ile-de-France region, where they can gain a better understanding of the specificities of the trade for which they are destined, and of the realities of company life. In the case of rare professions, the host company may be located outside the Paris region. The 12-month internships start in January or April, depending on the winner's choice.
For the 2024 edition, 22 prizes were awarded by the City of Paris and its sponsors: the Rémy Cointreau Foundation, the Michelle and Antoine Riboud Foundation, 19M and L'Alliance pour le Lin et le Chanvre Européens via the Fonds de dotation pour les Ateliers de Paris.
